The Halifax Regional Medical Center Foundation hosted its Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Chockoyotte Country Club in Weldon, NC. Through community contributions and support from business partners, our Foundation raised more than $18,000.

Formed in 1991, the Foundation exists to improve healthcare at Halifax Regional and throughout the Roanoke Valley. To fulfill that mission, 100 percent of funds raised by the Foundation are invested into the Medical Center to pay for necessary equipment upgrades, education programs and other beneficial services provided at Halifax Regional.

Fifteen teams came from near and far to support the tournament event. The tournament was sponsored by more than 50 business associates with donation amounts ranging from $300 to $1,500. Raffle prizes were awarded to several lucky golfers. “The success of the golf tournament would not be possible without our sponsors, participants, employees and friends,” said Chris Lehman, Foundation chairman.
