Contact Person: Henry F. Robertson Bruce Robistow Named Administrative Director of Diagnostic Services
Bruce Robistow, Halifax Regional Medical Center’s Cardiopulmonary Department Manager, has been named Administrative Director of Diagnostic Services. With this promotion, Robistow will provide leadership and direction for the Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory and Cardiopulmonary departments at Halifax Regional Medical Center. Robistow will also lead and direct the delivery of care within each of these departments. He will also coordinate strategic planning, fiscal management, and procurement of resources in these areas. “I am very excited about this new opportunity to combine the unique features of the diagnostic departments here at HRMC”, said Robistow, “ We will use this opportunity to look for ways to improve and enhance the services that we provide while maintaining focus on our mission of always placing patients first”. “Bruce is and effective communicator and has a demonstrated record of management successes. He is very organized and goal focused and I look forward to working with Bruce in his new position,” said Vice President Dian Barlow. During his six year tenure at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Robistow has served as chairman of the Capital Expenditure Committee; project manger for the Joint Care Center of Excellence, and the complete cardiac monitoring transition program; and Chairman of Emergency Management Committee. Robistow is also active in such community organizations as Roanoke Valley Chamber and United Way. He resides in Roanoke Rapids with his wife, Kathy.
