Medical Library

The Medical Library is located on the ground floor of the Medical Center’s south tower.  The Medical Library is open to physicians, employees, patients and visitors, and provides medical journals, consumer health materials, reference materials and internet access.  The Medical Library is staffed by a friendly, knowledgeable librarian who will assist patrons with locating informational resources and checking out books.  The Medical Library is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm (except for hospital observed holidays).  Physicians and Halifax Regional staff members needing to access the Medical Library outside of normal hours need to contact the Security Department.
