Psychiatry

Halifax Regional offers psychiatric care on an inpatient and an outpatient basis.  Patients needing a strenuous therapy regimen can be admitted to the Woodside Psychiatric Unit, located on the forth floor.  Patients needing help dealing with the occasional crisis situations can receive help at the Medical Center’s Outpatient Psychiatric Department, located at 210 Smith Church Road.
