About Halifax Regional
Halifax Regional is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare organizations. The Medical Center is licensed for 204 beds, including psychiatric and nursery. We offer an array of medical and surgical services, including 24-hour emergency care, backed by the latest technology. We strive to create a compassionate environment where our approximately 800 employees can deliver the best care every hour of every day.
Our staff of more than 60 physicians represents most medical specialties.
When specialized treatment is necessary, we have affiliations with major medical centers, including Pitt County Memorial Hospital, WakeMed, UNC Hospitals and Duke Medical Center.
Our patients come from Halifax, Northampton and Warren counties in North Carolina and Mecklenburg, Brunswick and Greensville in Virginia, so we serve a wide region along the I-95 corridor.
