| A hospitalist is a physician whose main professional focus is providing general medical care to patients who are admitted to a hospital. Many physicians at Halifax Regional work with our hospitalists to help provide care when their patients are admitted to the Medical Center.

Teamwork improves patient care
Hospitalists at Halifax Regional meet each morning to discuss the progress of patients. “We have a high level of teamwork among our hospitalists,” says Tiffany Mose who manages the hospitalist program. Hospitalists communicate often with your primary physician and encourage patients to ask questions and express their concerns anytime during their stay. |
